Policies, Terms and Conditions

Reserving & Retainer:

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required for all appointments to reserve your date and time. Your retainer is, due at the time of scheduling. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Same Day appointments, Promotional/Discounted services and In-Studio Bridal services require the  full payment at the time of scheduling. Payment is final and non-refundable. 

Payment:

The remaining balance is due at your appointment/event/shoot as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has scheduled the appointment. Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, credit card or online payment such as PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay (additional fees may apply), cashier’s check or money order made payable to LaPorscha Frazier. All payments are final and non-refundable. 

 

Disputes and Chargebacks:

You shall be held completely responsible for all charges, fees, and taxes arising from booking services with LaPorscha Monique Beauty LLC. By submitting a credit card payment and placing a card on file, you agree to allow LaPorscha Frazier Chaney of LaPorscha Monique Beauty LLC, to use the submitted credit card as the payment method under this agreement. Except in cases of actual fraud, client agrees not to file any dispute with client's bank, credit card or online payment service (including Square, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle or Apple Pay) to avoid payments or violate any terms and conditions of this contract. If client attempts to dispute, chargeback, reverse or recollect a previously authorized payment, LaPorscha Frazier Chaney of LaPorscha Monique Beauty LLC. reserves the right to collect all additional costs, fees and expenses associated with such chargeback, reversal or recollection, including, without limitation, court costs and attorney fees.

Rescheduling:

We require a 48-hour notice to reschedule your appointment to qualify a transfer of your paid retainer. You may reschedule up to 30 days from the original appointment date if proper notice of 48 hours is provided. If you fail to provide proper notice for rescheduling, you forfeit your retainer and will be required to pay a new retainer for a new appointment date.

Late Arrival Policy:

If you are running late please notify the artist at 248-752-7050 or by email: LaPorschaMonique@gmail.com. There is a $15 late fee that will be applied to your balance if you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment. All makeup sessions are timed accordingly to give each client a quality beauty experience. If you are 20 minutes or more late: your appointment will be canceled. Clients running late and have not contacted the artist are considered a "no show".

No Show and Late Cancellation Policy:

In the event that you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, you will lose the retainer paid to the artist and be subject to a late cancellation fee that can be less than or equal to the full price of the service. Additionally, if the client fails to show-up to appointment without contacting LaPorscha Frazier via phone, email or text message, the client will pay the full amount of service scheduled for. 

Liability:

All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application or class and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. You and any parties included in the appointment agree to release the makeup artist, LaPorscha Frazier, and any agents of LaPorscha Monique Beauty LLC. from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions or other diagnosis or conditions.

Use of Image:

LaPorscha Frazier Chaney may use on her website – and / or in any brochure, flyer or other advertising it deems necessary – any and all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally or chemically stored media that is captured or recorded by LaPorscha Frazier and any and all of her representatives or agents. 

COVID:

Due to the 2019-2022 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), LaPorscha Monique Beauty is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfection procedures in accordance with the Michigan Department of public Health and CDC guidelines.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
Fever
Fatigue
Dry Cough
Difficulty Breathing
